    Thanks to no dairy and a boat load of sugar, I’ve found that they’re actually edible for about 2 weeks after their “best before” date. After that the staleness and off flavor makes them good for only feeding racoons, turtles, and squirrels.

    I did this little experiment a few years back when Hostess released the original banana flavored cream twinkies. I bought a box for the novelty of it, but at 160 calories a cake, I couldn’t bring myself to eat them all that often. I ended up throwing half a box away when they did indeed go bad.

    Michael please let T know that I like very much the eyes on Larry the Mouse.
    Was so pleased when we learned that Larry was going to be part of the Over the Hedge ‘gang’.
