Scotch and Mescaline and Time Travel, Oh My!

So they need to go back to the future so they can move ahead to the past?

Or are they going back to the past so they never go in the future so they’ll never have to go back to the future so they can move ahead to the past?

This all made sense when I wrote it.

High on scotch and mescaline.

Actually, I don’t think that they will be able to succeed at what they’re going to do. Scientifically speaking, this would end one of two ways:

    1. In a singular universe, they would go back and get themselves to stop. The problem is that then they would die because their version of the future is gone. Secondary problem, if their version of the future doesn’t exist, then how would they, in that future, be able to stop themselves in the past? In this scenario, they couldn’t go back to the past if they wanted to.

    2. In a multiverse, they would travel to the past version of ANOTHER universe and stop themselves from going to the future. They wouldn’t die in this scenario, but a greater problem still looms: Hammy wouldn’t be saved. They solved the problem in the other universe’s future, but their universe would be unaffected. Hammy would be doomed to learn what the real world is.

Either way, RJ has messed up Hammy’s mind. Good job RJ.

There is a way to stop this, though! DEUS EX CARTOONIST!!!!!

Let this be a lesson to you: leave the peyote to the native americans, and keep your mitts off my damn scotch. If the price of Dewars goes any higher, I’m going to have to emigrate to Scotland.

Shouldn’t it be “Cartoonist Ex Machina”?
