Ha. This is a good one.
I LOVE pickles. Pickles are a crucial part of my occasional and variously effective diets. Pickles have ZERO calories. Unfortunately pickles contain near infinite sodium. All that sodium causes you to retain water — water the body needs to maintain homeostasis. This is how no calorie pickles will cause you to gain more weight than snarfing an entire Costco Family-Of-Man sized tub of Crisco.
Pickles: Sort of of Evil. But a yummy kind of evil.








Now I want a pickle.

Pickles are the zombies of the cucumber family….
My young niece once complained loudly that her salad had cucumbers in it and that she hated cucumbers. I asked her if she liked pickles and she said yes, love them. Well then why don’t you like cucumbers since pickles are made from cucumbers. No they’re not she stated. I got the jar of pickles and showed her “cucumbers” on the label. Now she also hates pickles…go figure!!
Your cucumbers can find a home with me- my 9 cucumbers made an excellent 5 half pints of bread and butter pickles.
