I hope this folderol is over and the strip returns to its normal level of insanity and fun.

I love that word, and “blandishments” , too (so well said, the strip and the blog today) — touting uselessness for all its worth . . . useless — unless you’re ham-handed and can’t get ahold of things without an origami edge to them.

I always confuse folderol with Endemol ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endemol ), producers of Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, Wipeout, and other folderol television shows.

I was unconcerned about origami until I saw this report about an “origami robot” http://spectrum.ieee.org/automaton/robotics/robotics-hardware/origami-robot-folds-itself-up-does-cool-stuff-dissolves-into-nothing
Now I welcome our new origami overlords.
