Spring Was Here

Hedge04082018No. That’s not a Hammy bomb. Just a comment on a shortened season.

A Hammy bomb would be all glittery and smell like bacon.

Weather Or Not?

hedge03042018We had a rough winter this year. Three hard freezes. Still, doesn’t mean the Earth isn’t warming.

It is warming.

Spring Snack

Hedge03272017Yeah, I know, we kind of did this already. Sort of. I guess I’m just blown away by how short winter was this year. In central Texas Spring is in full bloom about three weeks early.  Wild flowers (like blue bonnets) have been out since mid Feb.  We’ve lived here nearly 20 years and this is earliest Spring ever.

We may not agree on what’s causing global warming, but it’s certainly happening. Hopefully, we won’t wait till my house becomes beach front property before we do something more about it.

Stairway to Subzero

oh161117A few dated references in this one. Some day no one’s going to have any idea what I’m talking about.

Like yesterday.
