Warning: Naked Turtle Butt!

Hedge04172017Yes, I know, turtles shells don’t come off. At least not without killing the turtle. And that would be gruesome. And certainly not funny. So, let’s go with the funny. And just change reality.

See how easy that was?

Spleen is a Funny Word

Over the Hedge

That is an enormous fridge. Either that or RJ, Verne and Hammy are much smaller than I thought.  And quite an ice maker.

Spleen really is a funny word.

Over the Hedge

This is a fun one. Based on those old school turkeys with the pop-up indicator to tell you when it’s done (see how we’re closed caption for millennials). Not sure on the color on the dude in the final panel.  Sunburned? Or Trumpian spray tan?

Only T knows for sure.

Man Buns Must Die

oh160119I’m reconsidering this whole story line. Verne looks ridiculous. I mean, more ridiculous than usual.

The One With a Dimmer Switch For the Sun

oh140729For the six people out there wondering why we used a dot screen for the last two panels and didn’t just shade the sky a darker shade of blue…  We’re not strange modern day pointillists, but slaves to the daily newspaper where comics are still black and white (and dot gray). New fangled color is for the intertubes.  Everyone else gets 2-bit color.

I don’t make the rules. I just stare at them until they get bored and go watch Adventure Time.
