Journey to the Center of Suburbia

Hedge08082017The Mole People are perfect off stage characters. Mostly because they’re hard to draw. And they smell.

You’re welcome.

Mole People Really Know How to Party

oh140923As long as they wipe their feet and hose off first, mole people make excellent party guests. They’re quite fond of show tunes. Sondheim mostly.

You Should Have That Foible Checked

Commenting on wacky human foibles?  Been there, done that.  A LOT!

Radioactive twinkles from the future that bestow super powers?  Never been there, never done that.

And that, in a nutshell, is why I write these random, aimless, silly, story lines.

Also, you like them. Views, comments, Facebook reach, tweets and retweets all go up when we do these things.  I’m just giving you what you want. Even if you don’t know you want it.

I’m only thinking of you.

Right after I think of me.

Mole People Suck

Over the Hedge

Those little sweat beads flying off Hammy are called swiddles, or swattles, or maybe splattles.

Or maybe it’s blood splatter from T repeatedly jamming his pen in his forehead from having to draw so many squirrel legs.

Blood splatter it is then.

The Wasabis Revolt

Over the Hedge

What do you do when you don’t know how to end a silly story line?  You cheat, break the fourth wall and have your characters wink at the audience by refuses to participate.

Except for Hammy.  For whom there are no walls.

The Catcher of the Wide

Over the Hedge

Wide/Rye?  Not quite a rhyme, but good enough for government work.   And it’ll trick a few Reddit surfers into checking out the blog.  I’m in an ends justify the means kind of mood.  A rationalization a day keeps antidepressants away.

Tomorrow I’ll get back to cartooning with integrity.  I promise.
