Twinkle, Twinkle Little What?

Hedge012520Actually, as a somewhat rural resident I’m looking forward to Starlink. IF it ever happens. And IF it’s affordable.

Alexa, Let There Be Light

Hedgge09082018We have an Amazon Echo. Not sure it can do this, but we have yet to stump it on the music front. It’s such an amazing thing to have almost all of recorded music at your beck and call. I would love to know what gets played most. Is it current pop? It is hip-hop? Country? Standards? At our house we play everything. With seventy’s hits being a favorite.

Shiny Heinie

Hedge09072018Yes, I know, turtles shells are attached to their ribs.

But that’s not funny.

Creepy Planets

Hedge05262018T did an odd late night rewrite on this one. Here’s the original script:

6.
RJ, Verne, Hammy on the log.
H:  Why is that star not twinkling?
V:  It’s not a star it’s the planet Venus.
——————–
V:  The light source is closer and larger and isn’t refracted as much by our atmosphere.
————————
H:  Translation please.
RJ:  Planets can’t blink.
——————————
H:  That’s so sad!
RJ (eyes wide):  And super creepy.
V:  My mouth opens. Words come out. Nothing happens.
The gist is still there. Punch line is the same. But the beginning is unnecessarily confusing.  I can concede that Hammy saying, “Translation please,” is a bit mature for him, but I think it’s okay and helps sell the gag.
Grumble.
